Founded in 1920 in Chicago, Illinois, The League of Women Voters' focuses on educating and empowering voters whilst defending democracy. In 1928, the Colorado chapter was formed, and they have since continued to make an impact on goverment issues. Because of their in-depth research, studies, and discussions, the League of Women Voters' are a non-partisan group that provide facts and reason when it comes to voting issues.

• Amendments Y & Z, establishing bipartisan redistricting commissions following each census to combat gerrymandering (2018)
• Restored Voting Rights for Parolees (2019)

Strategies:

• By promoting inclusion, equity, and diversity, The League of Women Voters' is an organization that blocks all barriers to exclusion of people on the basis of gender, gender identity, ethnicity, race, origin, age, sexual orientation, culture, religion, etc.
• The league actively writes guides regarding public policy to inform voters on varying issues with facts and no bias.
• The league fights for what is right and puts in the effort to crush voter suppression. This solidifies their mission of empowering voters and defending democracy
