Intro:

Hello everyone! My name is Jessica Villanueva Puentes and I built a webpage for my BACS 200 class, Web Design for Small businesses, to discuss the League of women voters. On the webpage, there is basic information regarding The League, which happens to be one of my favorite nonprofits. In this case, I discuss both the Colorado chapter as well as the League as a whole.

The League of Women Voters'

The League of Women Voters', a non-partisan group, focuses on educating people and empowering voters while defending democracy. In 1928, the Colorado chapter was formed, and they have since continued to make an impact on government issues.

The Colorado chapter has accomplished amazing things such as restoring voting rights for parolees, push for automatic voter registration, and preventing politicians from buying their own election. Be sure to check out their site and click on the “donate today” button on my page to support this wonderful organization.

The League of Women Voters’ promotes inclusion, equity, and diversity. The league actively writes guides regarding public policy to inform voters on varying issues with facts and no bias. They fight for what is right and fight to crush voter suppression. This solidifies their mission of empowering voters and defending democracy
